Pros :-) and Cons :-(
1) Gym was not useful for us becuase they open 7 am.
Moreover many of their equipments were broken. :-(
Moreover many of their equipments were broken. :-(
2) Incredible amount of mosquitos everywhere in June,
and room window does not have a screen (nor air conditioners = although it is not necessary) :-(
Bring bug repellent or Buy "Raid" at local Walmart.
Or bring duck tape for taping thin room curtain onto the window.
3) Breakfast in the buffest style at the first floor opens at 7 am,
including custom-made omlett etc.
Fruits are fresh and waiters are very nice.
If mosquitos are not there, we could dine near the swimming pool. :-)
4) It is true in many places in Mexico and not just this hotel,
but we have to be careful for not-clogging the drain. Hair, big #2, and toilet paper :-(
5) Other customers on the weekend make quite bit a noise until late at night.
While our 3-week stay in June, there was Quinceañera, Bachelorette party,
some kind of Health Convention for youth, etc.
When these events are in session, the lobby is full of people. :-(
6) For our purpose to be near UPAEP, the hotel location was perfect.
Moreover, Avenida Juarez has many different types of restaurants to choose every night. :-)
7) The room was cleaned, bed was made, towels were changed every day. :-)
8) Laundry service was inconsistant at the hotel.
(one receptionist says no laundry service, while other accepted the dirty clothes and did it for about 100 pesos.)
We took our laundry to "lavandería" local at 1106 Calle 25 Sur, near UPAEP university.
They charge by the kilo.... and It was very cheap, and good job.
9) Internet connection was OK. At least they had Internet. :-)
Some of us always had to come to the first floor to get better connection on Internet. :-(

This restaurant is near Zocalo in Centro Histórico.
We were just walking, and I saw the Jamon was hanging down from the celing.
We liked so much and ate again, because the waiters Nacho and Luis were so nice,
and Nacho gave us a beer mug for a souvenir (out of his pocket money)
on the last night of our visit to Puebla.
Food was excellent, just suit to our taste (seafood, salad, etc.)
We ended up befriending with some of the customers there...
Singing exchange with one Oaxaqueño guy with his indigenous song
with Clark singing Mercedes Benz by Janis Joplin :-)
They were calling Janis Joplin as "Bruja Blanca."
It was a fun night.
